On Tuesday we went to the Hawkswell Theatre in Sligo to see The Mersey Beatles. They were amazing. I can’t praise them highly enough. They played for over 2 and a half hours and belted out so many hits from The Beatles. We were singing along to them all.
John really did look like John. Although George looked more like Paul as Paul himself admitted. Confused? I am 😉
The lads went through 4 changes of outfits which I never expected but it was brilliant. It really did reflect the changes The Beatles went through. They sounded so much like the real thing as well. The Mersey Beatles are doing a tour of Ireland after spending ten years playing The Cavern in Liverpool. If you get a chance do go and see them. It’s an amazing show.
I have to say though in this photo I think ‘George’ on the left looks like James May. Sorry George 😉
