I have to do a blog about my favourite coffee shop in Sligo. It’s called Chapters and is located on Bridge Street in Sligo.
I first spotted it before it opened when I saw this being painted on the side of the building. Not only is Chapters a wonderful cafe, they also do a great special offer where you can buy a coffee and a book for 4 euro…you can’t go wrong.
Upstairs is a lovely cosy room with all kinds of books and magazines. It’s lovely to sit and look out over the Garavogue river and just relax.
The toilets make me smile…it’s a nice change from ‘ladies and gents’.
I haven’t even started to tell you about the food…it’s wonderful. All freshly made and service with a smile….and free wi-fi 🙂
Don’t just take my word for it, go in and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed 🙂

Agree with all of that, a welcome addition to my lunchtime rambles (and on the right side of town for me). Decent coffee, decent prices, lovely fresh food and great staff. Now if they can just teach them to say Espresso instead of Expresso… 😉
