The Village Food Fare

I briefly did a blog about The Village Food Fare last week. I didn’t take many photo’s so I went back again today to take some and to buy some goodies. This lovely shop is in Collooney, Sligo just off the N4 roundabout. It really has something for everyone and the produce is top quality.

As well as fresh fruit and flowers. There is also a the Gourmet Parlour including coffee shop, Gilligan’s meats and Love Olive.

If you fancy having fresh eggs every day you can even buy hens!

Upstairs in the Roundabout Gallery. Where there is some lovely art on display for purchase. The gallery is a great place, very bright and airy. There are some wonderful unique pieces to buy.

There is also going to be a monthly craft market pn the first Saturday of the month. Stalls are only 10 euro which I think is great. My mum has booked a stall for her knitting so if you go along say hello to her. Mum donates money from her knitting to the local hospice because they were very good when my dad was ill.

I was talking to a lady today called Breda. She runs ‘Curlyrip’ which specialises in Baby Quilts, Doll and Kit Designs and gorgeous Humalings. There is such attention to detail in her work and if you are looking for a unique gift then look no further.

Even better news is that The Village Food Fare is now looking for full and part-time staff at the moment so if you are interested you can get in touch with them on Facebook.
