Yes we are still snowed in. It’s been as cold as -16 during the night and not reaching above freezing during the day so there doesn’t seem to be much sign of it thawing anytime soon.
If I hear Bing Crosby singing ‘White Christmas’ again I think I’ll boot the telly!
There was a bit of a panic during the week because as we are snowed in I couldn’t get Lucy to school and her art project was due in. Luckily a friend of ours dropped it into the school for us.
I had also booked a Tesco delivery on Tuesday. It was due between 1-3pm. I knew it would be late because of the weather. The poor fella arrived at 8pm. He’d got stuck in Manorhamilton for two hours. Then when he finally got going again some daft person kept him for an hour complaining because he was late!
