Well done Jono, originally uploaded by magnum_lady.
Jono and I went to Féile Na Tuaithe at the Museum of Country Life, Castlebar in May. There was a photo competition running to capture the spirit of the festival.
Jono came second in the teenage section, today there was a presentation and exhibtion of the winning photo’s. Jono won an ‘Outdoor set’ which comprised of binocular’s, swiss army knife, torch and compass. He was really pleased.
Talking of Jono he has his own Pokemon blog. So if anyone reading this blog is interested in Pokemon here is the site. He recently got the Japanese version of Pokemon Black which isn’t released here until next year. I don’t know how he fathoms it out as none of it is in English.

Yes, well done Jono.
I’m looking forward to visiting the Museum of Country Life in Castlebar at some stage, have never been there but it sounds really interesting. It appeals to my strong farming roots!
Thanks Lily. The museum is lovely, it’s set in really nice grounds as well. The cafe is well worth a visit too.
Is that the winning photo? Once again well done Jono! When I saw you were in Castlebar today I thought you might have been at Jedward again!!
The beehive photo behind Jono is his one. We were actually Jedward ‘stalking’ too but didn’t see any sign of them.
Ahh! Should have called to my office!!! The lift to the stage is beside the back door of out office and we often see acts sneeking in and out!!
I’ll know that next time 😉
Well done Jono.
You must be very proud of him Val.
Thanks Stella I am very proud.
Very well done – what a sense of achievement.
