Sligo parades and parties.

I am so behind on my blogs. I have so much to tell you, all about straw boys, concerts, parties and parades. My computer was out of action for a while and so was I to be honest. I had a really bad cold for almost a week. It’s just about gone now.

Luckily I’m married to the best computer repair man in Sligo 😀 So my computer is now working like a dream and I can start to catch up.

Today the kids went to the cinema with their friends to see Toy Story 3. I went around the town while I waited for them. The gay pride parade was on, it was great, very colourful and lively. To be honest I think it was better then the St. Patricks Day parade. There is a bit of video here.

The Quayside shopping centre was 5 years old, so there was a party on there. i102 radio was broadcasting and giving away prizes, I didn’t win anything though. There was a massive birthday cake and different events for the kids. There’s now an indoor market in the shopping centre too, which is a great idea. We got some lovely cakes from Once upon a time.

Petworld in Sligo had a big funday on as well, all in aid of the ISPCA. So I went and got a couple of bits for Rocket and ended up throwing sponges at one of the girls from the shop….I felt bad but it was for charity.
