Yesterday was an eventful day. I took my mum, Jono and the dog to Enniskillen.
Jono wanted to go to the train museum which is also a barber shop (strange but true). It’s a great place you get to look at all the train items and get your haircut at the same time.
I reckon Jono had the best haircut he’s ever had and it was only £7, it costs 12 euro down here. So I’m sure we’ll be back again.
As usual I took a mountain of photos. There were some very odd signs! You’d have to wonder about how things used to be in the ‘good old days’.
There are some gems around if you look hard enough. In Beverley, a market town not far from me, in the older streets, where once there were many shops mixed in with the houses on the main streets, there are still pained walls on the sides of houses with old advertising on it from pre-war. We should preserve these things as our fundamental history.
Next time you’re in my neck of the woods, visit the National Railway Museum if you’ve never been – it’s in York – fabulous (no barbers though!)

Beverly sounds like a lovely place. I love all kinds of things like that. There are a few gems around Sligo too.
