Yes finally we had a day without rain! Wonders will never cease.
So after I took the dog for his long morning walk. Went into town and did the shopping (with the dog!)…..too bad he’s not allowed around Tesco, I was contemplating putting him in a baby sling and carrying him around. I’ve turned from a mad cat woman to a mad dog woman 😉
Anyway I got home and managed to get the grass cut. Just as well as it was up to my armpits! I’m sure there were a couple of families camping out there. So it’s done for another week of so. If I win the lotto I’m going to buy a ride on lawnmower. I had contemplated fitting blades under Bertie (the car) but I don’t think that’d work.
This evening we are back to the rain again. Oh well it was nice while it lasted.

My dream is to have a sit on lawn mower, but it would be the height of decadence considering what the world is like right now. As my garden is only smallish it’s difficult to justify, unless I win the lottery too of course.
Lovely picture, jauntily angled lovely colours too. I saw the forecast the other night on the day the hosepipe ban was announced in the North West of England and saw that your part of the world was covered in rain cloud – wall to wall – enjoy the sun while you can get it.
By the way, I think mad dog women are probably more tolerated than mad cat women for some bizarre reason.
