Well it started off a really nice day. I even got the grass cut (with the dog walking beside me…lol). His feet were green when I’d finished. It’s not lashing with rain.
This morning Andy had to go for a blood test. As his blood was too thick last week. He’s still on warfarin, not sure how long for though. I had to laugh today. He was standing in the corridor today waiting for his blood test and a nurse told him he was a fire hazard….I wonder if she thought he was going to spontaneously combust.
I was in the hospital yesterday afternoon as well, with mum. She got the all clear for another year so that’s good news.
There are lots of activities going on in Sligo this weekend. There is the Strandhill show, also the Ballymote horse and dog show.
There is also the Lovinlife festival and the Cairde festival. I hoping the weather will improve.

I love the red rose picture – I love Roses and had “Roses” as a theme to our wedding almost 4 years ago – and what a day that was – perfect. I got married in Red and my daughter got a Rose named after me “Lady in Red” – it still has pride of place in the front garden.
