Yesterday was a beautiful day. I think it might have been our one day of Summer.
So in honour of this we headed off to Strandhill for a few hours. It was great. Jono and I walked the dunes and Lucy just relaxed.
The Strand bar is closed at the moment due to a recent fire which is a shame although they are working on it to get it re-opened.
Shells Cafe was closed yesterday afternoon which was a real shame, as the beach was very busy and with only one pub/restaurant open at the moment and the ice cream parlour (which used to be Neptune’s store) they really could have done with being open. There is also a new bakery there but that was also closed.
I noticed that there are bikes for hire at Strandhill so if you are down there and fancy a cycle check out this site.
