Yesterday was a busy day. Jono and I went to Féile Na Tuaithe (the festival of the countryside) in the Museum of Country Life in Castlebar.
It’s an annual event and is free. There was loads to see and do. All kinds of crafts and items for sale. Lots of animals including Alaska the eagle from Eagles Flying. We spent a good couple of hours looking around and then after seeing some of the animals from Kiltimagh Pet Farm, we decided to visit there as well.
So off we set and as we were driving though Kiltimagh we saw a sculpture park so we stopped to have a walk through there. The weather was fantastic for a change.
Then we made our way on to the pet farm. It was very good. We got to see all kinds of animals including the one above which decided to peck the camera! We also saw Wallabys and marmosets. They were so cute. I have loads of photos to put up when I go through them all.
