Just a quick blog. Sorry I haven’t been around much. So much rushing around at the moment. Thanks for your comments over the last few days…..I will get back to you 😉
So yesterday we got the 7am train to Dublin. We had a quick look around Henry Street. There were some stilt walkers there to celebrate the opening of a new Dunnes food hall. They were funny, I have to pics to put up on flickr but haven’t had time yet.
We got to the hospital and Lucy got her stitches removed. She still has a bit of infection, but it looks a lot better.
Then we got back to the city centre and had lunch. In the Jervis centre they have a lots of different food places and you can all sit together, so the kids had KFC and I had Harry Ramsdens fish (which I love…..I wonder why they don’t sell spam fritters though.)
Lucy bought herself an Ipod nano with her birthday money, so she’s happy, it makes a change from shoes.
Jono has this little pedometer and wore it all day….we walked 11,600 steps yesterday, not bad eh.
We got the 3pm train home and all was well until Longford and then a fight broke out. No fisticuffs but plenty of shouting and swearing….I thought it was quite exciting (I don’t get out much!) Anyway they put the man off the train at the next station so that was the end of that.
My mum also had her hospital appointment today. She has to go for a scan, they will send her out another appointment for that.
Andy is still bent double and in agony, poor fella. He’s really fed up of it.
Myself and Jono are off to Dublin again tomorrrow courtesy of the Irish Daily Mail, I don’t know much about it, except that we will be having lunch there…..another 7am start though.
