Lough Talt

I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather over the last couple of days. Wasn’t sure if it was hayfever from all the gardening or a cold. I’ve figured it’s a cold. I even went to bed yesterday afternoon….not like me at all. I’ve got a lovely red nose as well, to show for all my sniffing and sneezing.

I had to go to the library this morning in Tubbercurry so took the ‘scenic’ route and ended up at Lough Talt hence the photo, it’s really lovely there and the sun was shining which makes all the difference.

We got some great news about Jono’s junior cert. The department of education have finally agreed to let him have a scribe (someone to write for him) due to the letter the specialist from Sligo sent about the pain in his arm. So that’s really good, he will be able to do his exams and finish school (he’s counting down the days).

Now we have our broadband back I have my internet radio back up and running, I haven’t been able to use it for over a year because I couldn’t get a signal in the old house. So now I can have Planet Rock, Kerrang and loads of other radio stations from all over the world and best of all no neighbours to hear my loud out of tune singing πŸ˜‰
