Todays photo was taken at Glencar. Lucy wanted to go shopping in town, so we dropped her into Sligo and carried on to Glencar. Luckily it stopped raining long enough to walk up to the waterfall and back again. I love these little lambs, they were so cute bounding all over the field.
Yesterday I took my mum to Enniskillen which is in Northern Ireland. So we got our ‘fix’ of UK shops, including Asda and Iceland. I still find somethings expensive there, although some of the shops were doing euro for pound, the others were giving around 90 pence to the euro.
I bought some Bernard Matthews mini kievs which we can’t get here…..and the family were delighted! I also got crumpets, yum and lots of other goodies.

Lambs are so cute. There are some in the field behind us and we got to see them the other day. Some of them were wearing little yellow and orange jackets to keep them warm – they were so funny. And, my friend who owns them, has names for them all. 😮
Adorable photo – you’ve got a great eye
Hi Magnumlady – yet another superb picture – you really have an eye for the opportunity. I’m reading a book at the moment you would like, The Photographer’s Eye by Michael Freeman which I find help in my own photography – it’s about composition and design for digital photos.
If you want to chat about the subject you left a message about on my blog, you can contact me on northolme@hallgate.karoo.co.uk I would be interested to hear your experiences.
Take care
Steve
