I was absolutely delighted to receive a message from Marleen at Angel and Gift World in Sligo town, letting me know they had a Christmas gift for me. This was the first time a business has ever sent me a Christmas present, and I was genuinely thrilled.
I had recently seen a post about their new gifting station and was keen to learn more. I have to say, it’s a fantastic idea and perfect for anyone who finds gift-buying a little overwhelming – especially when shopping for the special people in your life. It’s a brilliant idea for kids too – they can head in with their pocket money and choose something lovely.
The concept is simple and thoughtful. You choose the size of your gift box and can either select one that Marleen and her team have carefully curated, or create your own by choosing individual items from around the shop.
Marleen kindly invited me to pick my own items, and I felt like a child in a sweet shop! There is so much choice in this magical and calming space. From jewellery and crystals to incense, angels, oracle cards and beautiful ornaments – there truly is something for everyone.
The available boxes include the Christmas Morning Box, Christmas Hope Box, Christmas Gift Box, Holding You (Grief Support Box), and the Safe and Grounded Protection Box. There’s also an angel box, hope box, and a little box of less stress.
