Branch Café and Wine bar Sligo

I’m very late to the party with my visit to Branch Café and Wine Bar in Sligo town. Branch opened last summer in the Yeats Memorial Building, and it’s a really bright and airy place. There are quirky, colourful prints on the walls and bright yellow chairs. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is great.

I’d heard wonderful things about the food from a various people and it was on my list of places to visit for a while. I ordered the Crab and avocado salad, which was served on a crispy homemade hash brown dressed with sriracha mayo. It was really delicious, everything tasted so fresh.

The opening hours are fairly limited so do check before you visit. If you don’t fancy eating inside you can also sit in the garden overlooking the river. You can find them on Facebook.

The toilet is upstairs, just in case you have mobility issues.
