Blend is Sligo’s newest café, you might know Laura from The Gallery Café on Grattan Street. Laura has now opened Blend on O’Connell Street, in the former Café Fleur premises. You can expect great food and friendly service and Laura was one of the gems in the pandemic as she was open for takeaway all the way through the lockdowns.
At the moment just the ground floor is open for indoor dining but upstairs will be open shortly. I called in for breakfast and ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The pancakes were light and fluffy and the bacon was lovely and crispy, my mocha was delicious too.
Blend is open for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm and Saturday 8am – 3pm. You can find them on Facebook.
