I’ve written before about how much I love Bundoran and I was delighted to be invited along to check out Bundoran Seaweed Baths. I love seaweed baths, they are so relaxing and your skin feels amazing afterwards, I’d never been to the ones in Bundoran before though, so I was really looking forward to it.

Me and Lucy headed in the morning and went for breakfast, there are so many fantastic places to choose from but we went to the Hardy Baker, and sat outside in the sunshine with our breakfast. The Hardy Baker have a great selection of artisan foods, drinks, and some gorgeous cards too.

After breakfast we went next door to Abode Home and Lifestyle, this is a newly opened shop and it’s absolutely gorgeous, it’s possibly my favourite shop so far. I love the different layouts and the attention to detail, there are so many beautiful things there that would brighten any home. The good news for those not in Bundoran is that they have a website: https://stockhouseinteriors.com/ Happy shopping!
We took a walk along the beach and it was a scorcher of a day and great to see so many people enjoying it. The sand is so clean and the water looked almost tropical.

We headed to the seaweed baths, it was like stepping into an oasis of calm, the staff were friendly and welcoming and we filled out a medical checklist. We were then shown to our room, it was a lovely big bright airy room with two baths and a seaweed shower. The sounds of the sea filled the room and we sank into the silky seaweed and relaxed. Now we did get confused with the seaweed facemask and the serum and some of it may have ended up in our hair! But as Lucy said at least our hair is nourished!

It was just pure bliss, and after the bath there’s a chance to relax in the Ocean View Lounge and enjoy a herbal tea as you watch the world go by. Booking is advisable and you can read more here: https://www.waterworldbundoran.com/seaweedbaths/

After our baths we had another walk around the town, that’s a really great thing about Bundoran – everything is in walking distance. There’s were another two shops we loved looking at – The Nomad One – gorgeous fashion and home decor. Another great shop is Paraphernalia, there are loads of quirky things here, including incense, crystals, gifts, clothing and more.

We also had an ice cream and a bag of chips – you just have to when you are at the seaside, and we went to the fun fair. I’ve been wanting to go on The View Big Wheel for ages so we did that. As the name suggests the views are spectacular.

So that was our wonderful day in Bundoran, it felt like a holiday, and we loved every minute. Thank you to Bundoran Seaweed Baths and Discover Bundoran for the fabulous baths – we are very grateful.
