Sligo – a New Shop, a New Exhibition, and more

I could write about the awful weather and me throwing my coffee all over myself this morning but instead I’ll focus on the positives. First things first a new shop has opened in Sligo and this will be of huge interest to pet lovers.

Petmania has opened in the Cleveragh Retail Park, in what was the Mothercare shop. It’s a massive shop with loads of things for all your pets, I was very impressed by the selection and my boys loved the pick and mix dog biscuits. A grooming centre will be opening in the coming weeks too. You can shop online too.

In the foyer of SG Art Shop is a beautiful exhibition by Jerusha Marley. It would brighten up the dullest day and the attention to detail and the colours of Jerusha’s work are beautiful. I love the art shop too, I’m like a kid in a sweet shop when I go in there. If you aren’t in Sligo you can order from SG here, and do check out Jerusha’s wearable art and canvas prints here.

Now that the shops are reopen I was in town having a gander and I have to give a mention to Poppy Lane, it’s a clothing shop in Johnston Court Shopping Centre and they have some really gorgeous bits. I’d really recommend a visit, I’ve seen a good few things I want so I’ll be back in to buy.
