New Year Online Classes

With the new year and the new lockdown some of you might be looking for online courses and classes so I’ve decided to write a post about some I’ve spotted. It’s a great way to learn something new or improve on a skill you already have and it’s also a great way to distract yourself from the current situation. These classes are based in Ireland but as they are online it doesn’t matter where in the world you are (except for the library ones).

If you are a member of Irish libraries there are over 400 courses you can take part in and they are all free! There’s sure to be something you are interested in and you can do them in your own time. You can find out more here: https://www.librariesireland.ie/elibrary/elearning-courses

Art classes with Poilin from the Open Door Gallery and Studio. I’ve done a few courses with Poilin and I love them. Poilin will paint or draw along with you so you know exactly what you are meant to be doing. If you can’t be there for the live zoom class you can catch up via the recording and you watch the video over again if you need to. https://opendoorgalleryandstudio.com/

Anois Yoga has several classes to suit all levels. Anois means now in Irish so you can practice yoga whenever your now happens.
