I’d like to wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope 2021 turns out to be everything you’ve hoped for. Usually around this time I’d be planning a trip away so it feels strange but also nice not to be planning anything. I have no plans and no expectations for this year, it’ll be what it’ll be. Last year taught me I can’t plan anything anyway. It’s quite calming not putting any pressure on myself to be honest.
We saw in the new year in the usual way, sat in front of the telly. Although I have to admit I did my own performance of Riverdance as I was preparing the buffet – thankfully there is no video. We also did the conga into the garden – accompanied by the dogs! Rocket-dog came home from the vets on New Year’s Eve so that was the best start to the new year I could hope for.
I have a couple of things to tell you about in case you might be interested. The first is an online book club that is starting up, you can join from anywhere in the world, it’s run by the WellExpo page. You can join here. The second is one for Irish readers, if you are a member of the library there are free online courses that you might be interested in. There are around 400 of them, I’ve signed up for drawing, painting and dream interpretation. You can find out more here.
Let me know if you have any plans for this year or have made any resolutions.
