Goodbye Mum

I said goodbye to my mum yesterday, it’s hard to know what to do or what to think.

There is nothing dignified about dying. I can’t understand how people are left to linger.

She had a long life. It wasn’t always easy for her but she was a strong woman and a fighter.

I hope she’s at peace.

SO sorry, Val – it’s very, very hard to lose a mother. All I can say to comfort you is that she WILL live on in every life she touched – including yours – and every little thing she did to make the world a better place. My thoughts are with you. xxx
