Goodbye Mum

I said goodbye to my mum yesterday, it’s hard to know what to do or what to think.

There is nothing dignified about dying. I can’t understand how people are left to linger.

She had a long life. It wasn’t always easy for her but she was a strong woman and a fighter.

I hope she’s at peace.

My thoughts are with you Val and your family. Losing a parent is hard. I lost my Dad when he was 52 and my Mom when she was 57. I so longed for them to be around and to be Grandparents which they never were to my daughters. A blessing you had her so long. Take care!
