This is a post that I’ve been pondering on writing for a while. I like Social Media (sometimes) but I find it more and more unsettling when I see people spewing hatred.
We seem to be living in a time where people get offended about the least little thing. The keyboard warriors seem to be out in force and I’ve had my own issues with a troll. It seems that whatever you do someone somewhere will be offended by it.
I won’t say anything online that I won’t say in real life and of course we all have opinions but I will always be civil. There are a lot of things that I won’t be drawn into. One of my favourite sayings is ‘not my circus not my monkey’.
There is always a person behind every Facebook page, twitter account etc. A person with feelings. So I would hope that if people don’t agree with certain things they might just scroll on by.
