It’s really the little things that make a big difference. I was working out in the cold yesterday and it really was cold; rain, sleet, hailstones – four seasons in a day. I was so grateful to the people who made me a cup of tea and gave me cake. To the lady, who later in the day, offered to get me a coffee. These were people I’d never met before but I was struck by their kindness. It’s lovely to know there are kind people out there.
They didn’t have to do this and they made a big difference to my day especially as I wasn’t feeling well. When I got home last night I was so cold and tired I fell into bed. I didn’t have the energy to my pyjamas on and I shivered until I fell asleep.
I’m still not very well today, just a bad cold, but at least I’m indoors. It’s heart-warming to know there are such nice people around.
Hope you are feeling better. Yes, it is nice to know that people still go out of their way to be kind. Lovely post!
Thank you Ellen
And in such a beautiful mug! 💕 stay warm and dry today Val.
Thank you
I left Clifden to drive to Sligo. Got as far as ballina and stayed there. It was beautiful. Did I miss something when I didn’t make it to Sligo??
Yes you did, Sligo is stunning
How heart-warming ! Take very good care Val.
