A brand new app has launched today called StoryTracks. I really love this idea, it’s an audio-guide where local people bring their own stories to life and although it’s based in Sligo it covers the whole of Ireland.
StoryTrack allows users to explore stories on the move as well as create their own StoryTracks as they travel the country. The user can listen to locals bring stories of the land, culture and heritage of Ireland come to life. Anyone can upload a story and again this is free to do. You can find out more about StoryTracks by clicking here.
I’d like to wish Fergal all the very best with his brilliant new venture.
Not much use if Wifi is not available.
You don’t need WiFi to listen to the stories once you’ve downloaded the app as far as I know Sean.
Yes, correct Val, unique feature of Storytracks is once you download the stories you plan on listening to you don’t need any signal to listen to them.
You could be out on Inishmurray Island listening to the stories!
Perfect, thanks so much for replying and best of luck.
