It’s the season to treat yourself, well that’s what I’m telling myself anyway! Sligo is an amazing place for food – but what about the drinks? Here are some of the best Winter Warmers out there.
Gingerbread Hot Chocolate – Hearts Desire. They already have one of the nicest hot chocolates in town, made with real chocolate and not powder but this one is something else, topped with gingerbread, chocolate, marshmallows and a gallon of cream. I would drink this every day of the week if I could.
Blind Tiger Irish coffee. Exclusive Bell Lane coffee, demarera sugar syrup, Tullamore Dew, topped with Guinness infused fresh cream and garnished with freshly grated ginger. I haven’t tried this as I’m always driving but it looks fab.
Nook in Collooney have a selection of festive hot chocolates including Black Forest and After Eight. If they taste anything like they look you’ll be in for a treat.
Osta have a hot chocolate of the month. I was in during November so it was Caramel Hot Chocolate which was delicious. I’m looking forward to seeing what this months flavour is.
