Thanksgiving Day

Firstly Happy Thanksgiving Day to all my followers and friends in the USA. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Given the day that’s in it I’ve decided to write my own thanksgiving post.

Excuse the rubbish photo but during the week I was chatting to Andy about how I loved the fire at Ange’s Cottage and how cosy it was. Guess what? When I arrived home from Dublin Andy had put this little electric fire in our living room. I was just so touched that he not only listened to me but he put such an amount of thought into this. I’m thankful to have such a wonderful husband.

I’m also very thankful for my two beautiful children. I’m so proud of both of them and they never cease to amaze me with the way they handle life.

My two gorgeous dogs are another thing I’m grateful for. Both bundles of fun and they make me leave the house everyday to walk them.

I’m thankful for my health, as 49 year olds go most of me is doing OK. I’m also thankful that I got a full nights sleep last night.

My life is turning in the right direction, albeit slowly. I’m getting to do much more of the work I want to do and I’m very grateful for that.

The roof over my head, not everyone is as lucky. In fact at the moment there are 3,000 children homeless in Ireland – that’s just desperate.

I’m thankful that I live in such a beautiful part of the world. Sligo never ceases to amaze me with its stunning scenery.

What are you thankful for?

  1. Thankful for my husband, too, even if he does drive me berserk occasionally! Blessed by my three children and my 7 grands. Love my borrowed dogs and cat (while my daughter lives in Japan, I have her two chihuahuas and her Maine coon cat). And grateful for the opportunity to spend time here in Japan with my daughter and granddaughter. And more thankful than I can say for the love of God which sustains me on the difficult days!!

  2. Lovely job Andy, very nice ๐Ÿ™‚

Difficult for me to pinpoint a few things for thankfulness as each day I wake up with an enthusiam of white it may be, so grateful for that attitude, even if on some days everything goes belly up.

For some reason, the ad posted below your article, for me, is a ergonomic designed toilet . Ad advertisement does get clutsy sometimes.
