This Friday and Saturday sees the return of the Sligo Summer Festival. I’m really looking forward to it especially Sister Sledge who are headlining on Friday night! It should be brilliant. There are loads of great acts playing Sligo and admission is only €2 donation! You can find out more about it here.
The Sligo Soapbox Derby and ball run take place on Saturday afternoon on The Mall. If you want to enter for the derby you still can, all the info is here and the profits from both events will go to the Rennafix Group.
The Fleadh Cheoil also comes to Sligo from the 10th – 17th August and the Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival is from the 9th-13th August so there’ll be loads to see and do for all the family.
In keeping with the summer in Sligo theme I took this photo last night….Lucy beat me though, she took the one below which I think is fab!
