There were celebrations in Johnston Court, Sligo today for the Chinese New Year. It was great to see the tradition lion dances. Unfortunately the animals that were meant to attend couldn’t because the weather was so bad.

Great stuff, Val! It is a shame about the bad weather putting a damper (literally and figuratively) on a bit of the festivities, but still, it’s great to see Sligo celebrating the Chinese new year this way. Cool video, too.
