The #RaboTweeties

Well the photos don’t really have anything to do with the #RaboTweeties but they were taken this evening over Ballisodare Bay.  Now onto the topic in hand. I’m delighted to say I won the #TweetiePic Category of the #RaboTweeties Twitter Awards which was run by Digital Times. I knew I was the biggest ‘twit’ going….now it’s official!! As you all know taking photos is my hobby obsession and I do take a lot of them. I post quite a few on twitter and was nominated for the Twitter Awards by some of my followers, I didn’t expect to win though especially as I was the only amateur photographer in the final!!  Who ever thought I’d see my name in a list of winners that included Marian Keyes!! Sadly I didn’t go to the awards because I needed to be in Sligo early the following morning but my acceptance speech would have been: ‘I’d like to thank my phone, my camera, everyone who nominated and voted for me and Sligo for being so beautiful to photograph.’
