Yesterday morning I went to Angelworld which regular readers to my blog will know is one of my favourite shops in Sligo. Declan Flynn from the Irish Academy of Mediumship was leading the meditation. I’ve never taken part in a meditation group before. I have tried to meditate at home but I always fall asleep!
We were shown upstairs to the ‘Angel’ room and sat in a circle or could lie on the floor if we wanted to. I had no idea really of what to expect. Basically we were told to relax and focus on our breathing, keeping in mind any colours we saw. I saw bright purple followed by white and a kind of gold/yellow. We were told to see a peaceful place and a temple with a door. I have to admit I failed…..I couldn’t see any of those things. I did see a couple of faces though, a bird and a frog! There’s no hope for me đŸ˜‰ It wasn’t helped I suppose by me thinking of how the dog show would go….and my stomach rumbling! Apologies to the other people who probably thought it was some kind of earthquake!
It was certainly interesting….just a shame I’m rubbish at it.
