The Sligo Animal Rescue Fun Day was held yesterday at the North Sligo Agricultural Show in Grange. It was a wonderful day, the rain held off apart from a small shower.
There was a great turn out with some lovely dogs taking part. I’m so glad I didn’t have to judge them because I wouldn’t have been able to pick a winner.
The dogs were really well-behaved (most of the owners were too 😉 ). It was really lovely seeing some of the rescue dogs who have been rehomed back to take part and looking so healthy and happy.
If you are looking for a dog please consider a rescue dog. Our Rocket-dog is a rescue dog and he’s given us so much love. He’s a wonderful dog. You can check out the dogs for adoption here.
We also held the raffle draw on the day. All the winners have been notified. A massive thanks to all who bought tickets, those who sold tickets and the many businesses and people who donated prizes. The rest of the photos from the dog show are here.
