Today in Sligo was the ‘Warrior of the Sea’ 6KM open water swim. It was from Rosses Point to Strandhill. It was a fairly cold day and the sea was certainly choppy but it didn’t deter the 130 brave souls who took to the water.
Neil Bolger and Mark Waters came in 1st and 2nd place.
Caoimhe Ni Murchu was the 1st lady home.
It was lovely to see so many people cheering the swimmers on. Strandhill beach was certainly very colourful this morning.
