I don’t like that song but it’s a good title for a blog post 😉 It was actually sunny this morning! It must be some kind of miracle. So I managed to take Rocket on the ‘short mountain walk’ which is about three miles.
I also managed to take a few photos which is great because I’d sort of lost the old ‘mojo’ there for a while. I’ve joined a Facebook group where you take one photo a day and some days it’s been an effort to find something to take a pic of.
I’m still playing with this DSLR camera, the photo above of the daisy has the moon above it (that white blob), although I would have liked it to look like a moon and not a blob but I like the flower anyway.
Anyway I’m rambling now. Yesterday Jono went to his basketball class, he got to play a match and really enjoyed it. While he was there I went to the gym and managed to do 10 minutes on the rowing machine and 15 minutes on the exercise bike. The first five minutes on the rowing machine almost killed me until I realised it was left on the hardest setting! I’m always amazed at the blokes in the gym strutting their stuff and grunting. You never hear women carry on like that. Also the women wipe down the machines when they’ve finished with them, the men just walk away and leave them all sweaty.
When we came home Andy and I went out for a drive (and got lost!) We ended up halfway up the mountain and found Cappagh School which dates back to the 1800’s. There is also a sheep to the right, although it’s hard to see him. I wanted to take more photos but my camera battery died, so I will have to go up another day to explore. The lanes are so narrow though, we were lucky we didn’t meet another car.
