As Lucy goes back to school next week we went to Bundoran for the day. Lucy and her friend went to Waterworld which is a great swimming pool with slides, a wave machine and a whirlpool. We thought it might be a bit much for Jono’s back so we went bowling.
We also had fun on the amusement machines. Jono won 600 tickets with one 20 cent game! What happens is you play different machines to win tickets. In the end we had enough for a giant bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk and a box of Cadbury Hero’s 🙂
After all that ticket winning we went to an ice cream parlour….and I pigged out while Jono sat there with his pot of tea (he hasn’t got a sweet tooth, lucky thing!)
After that we went for a game of ‘Treasure Island’ crazy golf. It’s a lovely little place, all done with a pirate theme. I would put up more photos but my blog is being very slow tonight so I’ll try again tomorrow.
I really like Bundoran, it’s a great seaside resort.
