The Harlequin Hotel

 

Last month I entered a competition on facebook to win a break at the Harlequin Hotel in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. All I had to do was refer friends to them….so I did and I won 🙂

We headed off last week and had a lovely time. The hotel is really nice, the beds were huge and very comfortable. We got dinner there as well which was fantastic. One of the nicest dinners out that I’ve ever had. I’ll put some photos of the food below.

The best bit of it all was no washing up!

Castlebar is a lovely town. The Tesco has a coffee shop, we got lunch for the four of us for under a tenner…there is also a free toilet. It costs 50 cent use the toilet in the Sligo Tesco and it’s minging.

There were about five charity shops. I love looking in them, you never know what you’ll find.  The people in the town are really friendly too, so we had a lovely break. The only downside was that we couldn’t bring the dog 😦
