Carrick on Shannon

Today myself and the kids went to Carrick on Shannon.

The car boot sale has started up again after about six months. It had finished because of the really bad flooding…..so many places had water damage and it took ages to repair the buildings.

Anyway firstly we went to the market at the Springfield mushroom farm, then onto the car boot sale and then into the new indoor market at the Mulvey centre.

I love looking around markets and boot sales, although we didn’t buy anything today. There seemed to be quite a lot of over priced things or really old fashioned things.

We had a lovely day out though, the sun was shining. We had a walk down by the river.

Lucy has a real phobia about spiders. Jono somehow had one land on his head…..and Lucy walloped him with her handbag. Luckily although we were in the car at the time I was stopped at a junction because I couldn’t stop laughing……..Jono was OK though, thankfully she didn’t hit him hard.
