It was a busy day today.
I realised that I hadn’t got anything for Lucy going back to school, I know she doesn’t go back until September but I like to be organised. So anyway we went into Sligo this morning but we didn’t get much. It was nice having a look around and we got some lovely fudge and cakes in Kate’s Kitchen.
I did get Lucy a new school jumper and a French book…..total cost 70 euro just for two items…..so much for free education.
After shopping we went swimming, which was lovely apart from all the naked women in the changing room, some people have no inhibitions whatsoever and that’s great for them…..but not so great for us….I wish there were private changing cubicles.
After swimming we went to Pizza Hut and had a buffet which was lovely,as usual I ate too much.
I’ve been grouting the kitchen tiles over the last few days, it’s nearly finished now and looks a lot better.

so the price of unforms is still extortionate then? Its been years since I bought any but they were silly money then!
Totally agree about communal changing areas – didn’t like them at school and don’t like them now!!!!
I don’t mind paying for the uniforms so much, but the books are around 35 euro each…..I think that’s crazy money.
