It’s back to earth with a bang today after leaving my comfortable bubble of the theatre world. I was part of Sligo Acts at the Hawk’s Well Theatre. Basically around 40 members of the public signed up to be part of a stage show.
I went along to the Hawk’s Well Theatre yesterday for the introduction to Sligo Acts. This is a great new project by the theatre to give members of a public a chance to appear on stage. It’s open to all so there were people who had acting experience and people who were beginners.
Yesterday was our end of year play at the ETB drama course I attend. ‘A Library Full of Stories’ was written by us all and was great fun to be part of.
Calry Drama are delighted to present a special dramatic production “Spirit of the Rising” for the centenary celebration of 1916. It will be held in the Arts Space in Hazelwood Estate, on Wednesday 23rd March at 8:30 p.m.
