Happy 9th Birthday to the Blog

Well it’s hard to believe that my little old blog is 9 years old! Those years fairly flew. The blog started as a place to get thoughts out of my head during a time when there was a lot of illness in the family and has kind of come full circle.

Gallivanting around Grange

I was in Grange yesterday for a business meeting, ooh get me! It gave me the chance to visit The Jam Pot cafe which I’ve wanted to try for ages. It’s a lovely place and I really enjoyed my chocolate, beetroot and avocado cake – which shouldn’t have worked but it was delicious.

Farewell January

I don’t know about you but this month seems to have dragged on for ages. At last we are starting to see a grand stretch in the evening, it’s 5.25 pm and it’s still not completely dark.

Surprising Smithfield

Jono and me headed up to Dublin for a few hours, mainly to see how he managed pain wise – not so good unfortunately, but we did have a lovely time.
