What do President Michael D. Higgins, The Traitors and SpongeBob SquarePants have in common? You can see them all at the Easkey Scarecrow Festival in Sligo!
It’s such a wonderful event, which encourages the people of Easkey, and the surrounding areas, to unleash their creative side, and come up with something wonderful.
It’s well worth a visit, for all ages, and it’s free! The winners of the best scarecrows will be announced tomorrow (18th Oct.) in The Castle Inn on this Saturday 18th at 6pm. The festival runs until October 31st.
Well done to all involved, I loved see the scarecrows, I especially love the Shrunken Head man from Beetlejuice, he’s one of my favourite film characters. Follow Easkey Scarecrow Festival on Facebook.
