It’s been a fantastic few days here in Ireland. It’s just the most beautiful place in the world when the sun is shining.
The folks of Easkey have been busy this week with their Annual Scarecrow Festival. It’s really worth a visit, their is so much work that goes into the scarecrows and of course Easkey is a beautiful place to visit anyway…do check out the coast road and Easkey Castle too.
Yesterday I went to Ballina for the day. I had to go to a couple of shops there so I tied it in with a visit to Belleek Woods. It’s a beautiful forest just outside Ballina town and along the banks of the River Moy.
If you go down to Easkey today you’re in for a big surprise! The Easkey Scarecrow Festival is taking place and it’s great! There’s a scare around every corner! It’s putting the wild into the Wild Atlantic Way!
