I love finding ideas that are just a little bit different, and I like to support local businesses whenever I can, so I was delighted to meet Paul from Jet Black Squares recently and find out more about his business. Paul would like to show you how to see everyday things in a different light, to look at the world in a new way and to take better photographs with the phone in your pocket.

I had great chat with Paul on the podcast, you can listen here, or on the audio below. We had similar backgrounds, we both grew up in the UK, we moved to Ireland for a better life for our families, we both had dads who were photographers, and we’ve both published a book.
The smartphone photography safaris are such a great idea, and if you take a look at Paul’s Instagram account you’ll see what a talented photographer he is (I’ve put some pics at the top of the blog). It’s also a lovely way to see more of Sligo and to have a chat with Paul and other people if you join a group tour.

Paul also offers team building photography workshops and workshops for health and wellbeing, and if you have a business and would like to know more about taking better photos for your social media you can contact Paul too. Email him: PaulR@JetBlackSquares.com and find out more on the website – you can also buy a voucher there too: https://www.jetblacksquares.com/sligo-smartphone-photography-workshops
