There’s something for everyone at Homeland Plus in Sligo town. It’s conveniently located at Deepwater Quay, Finisklin. There’s plenty of free parking and it’s a pleasure to shop there. With friendly staff and a huge variety of products, you can get your Christmas presents sorted under one roof.
Their Christmas department is in full swing, and your house will look gorgeous with their selection of Christmas trees and lights. There are miniature villages, penguins, Santas and snowmen, and there’s even a singing robin! Homeland’s extensive garden centre has everything you need for the green-fingered folk in your lives. Choose from a wide variety of plants, including beautiful potted containers.
There’s also a wide variety of garden tools, and the most gorgeous garden ornaments. It’s a pleasure to walk around this oasis of calm.
Take a visit to the pet section for your four-legged friends. You will find everything you need for all creatures great and small, from beds to food and toys to treats. Your feathered friends aren’t forgotten either, you can buy birdhouses, bird feed, and even bug hotels.
Upstairs you will find a huge selection of homewares, including small electrical appliances, dishes, rugs, pictures, candles, lamps, ornaments, and so much more.
They have a range of my favourite lamps in stock, they are oil burner/ wax melt touch lamps, and they are beautiful. I also really love the cute eggs cups, and bee themed kitchen ware.
For the little people in your life you will find cuddly creatures, choose from the green monster, pink dragon, lion, or rainbow elephant or teddy bear. The rainbow unicorn was my favourite, it you know me you’ll know that I have a thing about unicorns.
Also, upstairs is McCafe, so you can take a break from all the shopping and have a cuppa and a cake. It’s certainly a cafe with a view too, as it overlooks Benbulben Mountain.
Back downstairs and a visit to the clothing department is a must if you need a new coat, footwear, workwear, hats, or socks. They stock so many brands including Portwest, Regatta, Snickers Workwear, Mascot, and more. Their prices are great too! I loved the children’s section with the gorgeous boots and waterproof clothing. If only they had Peppa Pig overalls in my size!
