Tempo Cafe open in Ballisodare last year. After years of interest in healthy eating and nutrition, Noirin Kelly decided to turn her passion for flavoursome, nutritious cooking into a new venture. I’ve previously called in for takeaway porridge – which is something else by the way.
Over the weekend I decided to have breakfast there. It was my first time eating in there, they have a spacious seating area upstairs and I felt comfortable and safe. The staff are lovely, so friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing.
I had the Tempo Pancakes – Ricotta hotcakes, topped with rhubarb and raspberry compote, vanilla mascarpone, strawberries, blueberries, toasted pistachios and edible flowers. They looked like a work of art and tasted absolutely gorgeous.
