For a week that started off pretty badly today turned it all around. There’s quite a bit of news on the horizon but I won’t tell you about that just yet 😉
I had a meeting this afternoon but before that I went for a bit of a ramble around Roscommon. The first stop was to Boyle and there was a hot chocolate calling my name. So I called into The Bazaar, I really like this place, it’s quirky and cosy and service with a small.
On to Carrick-on-Shannon for a look around the shops and of course a visit to Lena’s Tea rooms. This is one of my favourite places, the cakes are amazing, but don’t take my word for it. Today was a bit different as it was busy and I shared a table with another lady who was having her lunch. Do you know it was brilliant! We had a good old chat and I really enjoyed it! No looking at the phone at all. I should do that more often. As for the shops I love this amazing chair (and of course the sheep) the chair is from Vobe Interiors and it’s so similar to the rug I was hoping to get. One day.
I also got a look at The Leitrim Design House where Alison Hunter has a beautiful exhibition on. She’s such a talented artist so if you get a chance do go and have a look.
On to the meeting and it went fantastically well but I’ll tell you about that soon 😀
