If you are in Dublin and are looking for a place where you’ll be feline at home check out the brand new Cat Lounge. This is the first of it’s kind in Ireland and I went along this morning to pawruse the place.
Well what can I say? There are five adorable kittens in residence at the moment. These poor babies were left into a vet to be put to sleep but Georgina, who has founded The Cat Lounge, saved them. They will be available for adoption when they are 6 months old and will be neutured and vaccinated before they are re-homed.
I had one little kitten climb onto me and fall asleep – they’d melt your heart.
Georgina is an avid animal lover and she is very considerate towards the kittens. Visitors are limited to ten people at a time and they are welcome to bring in a laptop and relax over a cuppa. There is no food served as it’s not a cafe but you’ll be so busy meowking friends that you won’t have time to eat.
The Cat Lounge is very centrally based in Smithfield, just a two minute walk from the LUAS stop. It costs €15 for a 90 minute session and you can book here.
Well I’m super jealous you went here because I was trying to book a place for Thursday and it’s booked.
It’s very popular
I booked for November.
