If you go down to Easkey today you’re in for a big surprise! The Easkey Scarecrow Festival is taking place and it’s great! There’s a scare around every corner! It’s putting the wild into the Wild Atlantic Way!
It’s great to see the locals going to such effort and bringing a bit of life (or should that be death) to the village.
They aren’t all scary just in case you are wondering. There is a farming couple enjoying a nice cuppa and shure why not?
I’m sure I missed a few, in fact I drove by the ‘Witch in the Ditch’ and only just caught her legs sticking out of the hedge so there isn’t a pic of her. If you go onto the festival Facebook page you’ll find out more.
