I had a lovely treat today thanks to The Blow Dry Bar. Anyone who knows me in real life will know my hair is usually tied back number one because I’m too lazy to style it and number two because it usually looks like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards!
As it’s my birthday tomorrow The Blow Dry Bar invited me along to get some much-needed tender loving care for my unruly hair.
The salon is centrally located in the Wine Street Carpark, Sligo and is bright and airy. I was welcomed by Gemma who sat me down at one of the padded basins…yes padded! My neck usually gets very sore whenever I get my hair washed but this was bliss! What a great idea. Gemma washed my hair and massaged in Osmo intensive repair mask. It was so lovely and relaxing and the perfect start to a Monday morning.
Gemma let me look through the menu and I decided on Poker Face, my hair is never usually straight so it’s lovely to get it looking sleek for once. There is something to suit everyone though from up-styles to down-styles and everything in between.
Just look at the before and after pics!! Such a massive difference…now if only I could get my face sorted out..but there’s great news on that front as The Beauty Bar will open its doors above The Blow Dry Bar this Thursday. So if you have something special planned or just feel like a bit of pampering head along to The Blow Dry Bar and The Beauty Bar and you’ll walk out feeling a million dollars.
Huge thanks to Elaine and Gemma for looking after me so well. You can find The Blow Dry Bar on Facebook and Twitter.
Happy Birthday for Tomorrow Val.
