Christmas Day 2014

I hope you’ve all been enjoying Christmas. We had a lovely time, mostly doing nothing except eating, watching tv and the occasional game of scrabble…which usually ended up in war πŸ˜‰

The family got me a gorillapod which is a little flexible tripod (I’ll blog more about it later). Anyway it meant this year that Andy didn’t have to merge two photos together to get us all in the shot but it did mean using the self-timer on the camera. As you can see from the first photo 2 seconds wasn’t long enough…I think Andy’s face is priceless.

This was take two, much better but we realised we forgot the dog.

So take three with the dog…although I’m not really sure what the dog was thinking! Anyway there’ll be more blogs over the next couple of days as I’ve finally got my photography mojo back after a long absence.

  1. Great photos of you and the family, Val. Looks like everyone has been having a lot of fun and really enjoying themselves. I agree – that first shot of Andy is brilliant.

Although I was sad to read your news about hanging up Sligo Secrets, I’m glad to see you back blogging, and that your photo-taking mojo is on the way back too.

If I don’t get a chance to say it before then, have a very happy ringing in of the new year. Although I badly needed a break from all the markets and Christmas fairs this month, a week off from it and I’m beginning to miss it, so tomorrow, it’s back to plaque-making for me, along with renewed and refreshed creative mojo.

Lots of love to you and your family. – June

  2. All the best in the New Year, Val and Juneji. May your mojos continue to bloom (or whatever mojosare supposed to do).
Sorry for spacing error. Auto correct kept changing the spelling. πŸ˜›
